"Like" # 13 is my number!
Gabor Retei~~~Much appreciated Gabe...As my confidence grows and my understanding of this amazing technology advances, I feel more adventurous..To be honest, point and shoot cameras are great for lazy people like me..but it is the return to SLR and manual settings which has forced me to move forward ;>)
OLYMPIST ©~~~~You will always find a friendly welcome here and your comments and opinions will always be respected...Unfortunately, even here in the virtual safe world of Panoramio, there are those those whose quest in life is to victimise and intimidate the gentle people.....but in the end, the gentle people will prevail ;>)
Warm regards to you both ;>)
Magical power place , wonderful photo !like !

Mahdi Kalhor----Hi Mahdi, the building is from the mid XVII century..Formerly the town hall..Today, it serves no purpose except for photographers ;>)
sugarbag1~~~~Hello David, it is good to find you here in my gallery once more..My night shots are simply a result of copying the settings from other Panoramians whose images far exceed my humble offerings..I appreciate your encouraging appraisal..and I am glad you like this photo ;>)
Thanks for taking the time to stay a while ;>)
Hi Jim, this photo really has the flavour of an English town although I agree with you that it feels a bit eerily quiet. :)))
LIKEd + Golden ☆
Best wishes from Thailand
I would suggest that they're all over the road in The Shambles getting lashed.... and thank goodness - this excellent photo doesn't need a crowd to earn a like. Very best wishes, Clive

"I wish to express my sincere gratitude for the way you both handled that dreadful scenario tonight".
What the devil's been going on Jim?
Are you turning into a night owl my dear friend? Great set of dark photos - so nicely exposed too. Did you get to the shenanigans on Hallowe'en this year?
Cheers m' dear, Amelia

faintlightofdawn~~~~It must have been something I said Fain---..Maybe they were just camera shy ;>)
_ah-pong_~-~-~-Thanks for the affirmation, especially the Y* ;>)
Clive on Beara~~~~~The town was strangely quiet Clive, hardly a whisper from the patrons of the Shambles..I'm thinking you have partaken of the waters in there ;>) I'm delighted for your visit and compliment ;>)
GuoJunjun----A warm welcome my friend..I'm most grateful for your generous assessment ;>)
Amelia Royan~~~~Unfortunately, a visitor to my gallery, and out of the blue, left an offensive comment in response to something a visitor had mentioned under a photograph of a place of worship..The comment smacked of malevolence and sour grapes..Unfortunately, several other people read the comment too and reacted in my defence. The incident went on for some time, and the negative tones were building up in the comments..The nature of the attack suggested that the perpetrator had been planning it for some time. Initially, I had been reluctant to interject, I believe that there was a good case for naming and shaming the individual concerned, and in the end, one of my contacts made an official complaint to Pano Admin. They were reluctant, understandably, to take any action. However, the person will need to show constraint and reason in future. A storm in a teacup I think ;>) Needless to say, I was pretty sharp in removing the nasty stuff..This is not the place for hate-mail ;>)
I can tell you that the person does not visit my gallery at any time.
Thank you all so much for your friendly visits and lovely comments ;>)
Its a beauty of a shot! Feels so calm, quiet, and peaceful...and is if we are walking along the street ourselves! Hard to believe it was a nasty night out. Like!
Sorry to hear about the uproar & glad it has been resolved. I think most everyone on Pano goes out of their way to try to spread goodwill...too bad not 100%.
joyfotos~~~~A warm welcome once again Joy, I do so enjoy your comments..quite honestly, it is so much easier to respond.
As for the seemingly peaceful, quiet old street, the noise from several nearby pubs left one under no illusion that all was quiet..Generally, on weekdays, the place dies after 11pm.
All the best ;>)
Special mood, Like it very much Jim, finish my visit... Best regards, Edmundo
