Those railroad tracks are part of the old feeder system for the "Anhalter Bahnhof", Berlins former main train station. Anhalter Bahnhof, a "cul-desac station", was once the worlds busiest train station; until it got hit rather well towards the end of world war two. The ruin ended up in an eastern corner of former West Berlin with 70 tracks basically running into The Wall. Most of the tracks have since disappeared. The few remaining ones are well fenced off. Well, I have finally found a hole in one fence:-)
