The drive from Montreux to Lausanne is awesome, as you image reveals beautifully.
I guess you are back in your office with a Cuban Cigar (roll your own perfected) and a wine from Vevey in the other hand.... on the other hand, why would you be in your office if you can have your hands already occupied? ;)
Warm Aussie greetings,
I'm terribly sorry, Ian. But concerning the cigars, me in Cuba is like a deaf in a Mozart concert: I don't smoke, so I don't roll my own cigar in the office now. ;)
But of course I enjoyed some of the excellent Cuban drinks while listening to the great Cuban music in one of the numerous restaurants.
About the coast of the Geneva Lake you are right. There is a kind of Mediterranean feeling and you seem to be somewhere at the Riviera. I really like this region. :)
Thanks a lot for your visit.
Spring greetings from Switzerland
Nice view - these Lavaux vine terraces are part of Unesco's World Heritage Sites.
Thanks for dropping in, Juha!
Yes, you are right. It's a very beautiful region with its own charme in every season.
...but here's all for nothing ;-)
