Congratulations to our now famous Australian friend. I hope you didn't get writer's cramp! I agree - infinitely better than a win on Panoramio :)

Ian Stehbens on November 30, 2010

Thank you Potoka - Tonga does have some spectacular and colourful scenery. Warm regards,

Ian

It is Panoramio and all our friends, Amelia that inspired, taught an encouraged me - especially those who have an artistic flair like you, dear friend. I still remember my earliest engagement with you when you spoke about your pottery class and I tried to imagine what you looked like and what style of pottery you might be producing! Eventually, I was taken into a most beautiful and creative English garden - a famous one and met again its famous gardener!

But btw don't overestimate the fame - Tonga isn't very big and isn't likely to make me rich or famous! But I am having fun.

I shook the writer's cramp off on the flight back.

Warmest regards,

Ian

Hi Nick! I am back in Oz at least, though not yet at home and not on my computer. Thanks for the vote for this beautiful and pristine coast deserves to be recognized - there is much drama and great variety along this stretch of coast. the blowholes in the fringing reef being part of its performance.

And as for my 'agent', I trust he has some success with his business. Landscape photographs don't have much appeal to Tongans generally, but the expatriate community, business and diplomatic community and perhaps some tourists may be his customers.

All the best,

Ian

Dear ,

I have enjoyed your recent uploads and will find time once I settle back at home to chat with you about them. Sorry that this requires patience of you, but I look forward to resuming regular communication with you now that I am back from Tonga. Thanks for the vote, for I regard itr as an affirmation of the Tongan landscapes.

Warmest regards from Sydney,

Ian
