p.s. a bit of trivia re Kermit: The early Kermit (1955+) was a sort of lizard-like creature; Kermit's first appearance as a frog was in the television special Hey Cinderella in 1969... (Wikipedia says so, so it must be true ;-)

ha?!? what hairy-headed, transparent-milk-coloured, ugly-wing-eared creature is calling US funny-looking ??? The gall... !!!

This little iguana seems to be very curious. I guess it is hard to live in captivity and everything beyond the window/ wall seems to be very interesting and amazing for them. Great shot! Cheers, Kariklea

Thanks, bartowian, for so aptly broadening the perspective! And thanks, Kariklea for your comment. I don't know how much the iguanas in the enclosure interact, but otherwise, I suppose that watching us hairy-headed passers-by is their only excitement!

Since my husband retired and I finished a big project, we've been making up for all the years that we were tied down! Greetings from Canada, Marilyn

re "broadening the perspective...watching us hairy-headed passers-by is their only excitement!"

I had an electronics geek friend who also loved to surround himself with exotic animals, and sometimes when we went to "research" geek stores, I took my favorite iguana along: sat him on my shoulder and with his tail dragging the floor (overall length ~6 feet) we scared them earthlings silly... Great Afternoon Fun!! ;-)

p.s. I love seeing "My Panoramio Darlings" (Grandma Einstein, Misterious Miss D, Black&White Eva, Bat-Winged Verena, and 'Sweet Green Pea') pop up in my comments section anew every day... :-)
