Tomas - another bridge - another like! Due to 'mild intoxication' I missed your questions, re wharf photo, first time round! It has been restored now for well over 10 years (was going to be demolished!!!) & believe it or not - NO SHOPS! There are restaurants on the western side. The first half is Blue (hotel) - the other, apartments. It is from here a lot of wool & thousands of soldiers (WW1 & WW2) departed. I love it! - - more if you're interest. (P.S. He can vote on next month's contest photos -twice with me - must live in a different time zone!<);-] ) My best, David

David, That is a great place to live, but probably not cheap. If I have my address in Woolloomooloo, people will laugh. But then again, we have Mississauga (next to Toronto).

Regarding the photo above, the bridge is very ordinary. It was under repairs than and the noise and dust was driving visitors away from nearby motels and cottages.

I was talking with the owner of one resort, and he was not happy. People came for a week and stay there only 1 night because of the noise.

If you click on tag Bridge in my gallery, you may find the most photographed bridge in Toronto. I have 4 versions of it.
