Once again a fascinating piece of history. There's something almost mysterious about this place considering that it's relatively unknown and hidden in the forest along the coast. It really draws me.

I really like how this shot was framed even though I can not see any right now, there's plenty of Spanish moss to go around and you know how much we both love Spanish moss ;)

A wonderful capture by you my friend. And once again thanks for sharing this with all of us!

Warm regards,

Kyle, yes indeed, we DO love spanish Moss, and there was plenty of it here! I'm sorry that I didn't manage to capture any of it in the shot. What was I thinking?

Thank you so much for enjoying this wonderful old fort. Yes, it's packed full of history, and relatively undisturbed, which is what I liked about it the most! It's still possible to go into every nick and cranny, and I do so enjoy that! It was very cold inside the tunnels,, and outside it was still in the upper 80's. So neat!

Thank you again for your interest and kind words! I love sharing these wonderful places with you.

I hope this evening finds you well.

Rockin' the roof off over here... can you hear it?
