Looking down the K.I.V. Steenstrup Norde Brae Glacier on the South East coast of Greenland, from a Bell 222 helicopter in August of 2007.

Hi Mike, how did you get there? I'm looking for a way to explore Greenland like you did!

I went there as part of a science project, but this particular region is also popular with ski-tourers and alpinists. EastGreenland.com has a pretty good run down of tour operators etc. This part of Greenland can be accessed reasonably easily from Iceland. Cheers.
