Hello RiaM!

Dear Ria, 1000 thanks for your visit and very kind comment + Like & YS! I'm very thanksful that you puted this photo in your ship collection and that you like this photo!

Yes, you did it! The little older photo was done before launching! This ship is a multi-purpose container vessel, has heavy lift cranes and movable tweendecks! The length of this ship is a little more then 200m!

My best wishes and a further happy weekend for you, Udo

Hello, dear Udo,

This ship can sail here on the Waterway, as 200m. isn't very long. Who knows? But she hasn't got a name yet....! So I can't recognize her...!

Have a fine weekend!! Greetings from Ria

Hello dear Udo!

A very large ship, the impressive size and capacity, (as I understood from your answers). I think this is a great pleasure and pride to take part in the launching of such ship and watch as he goes into the open sea, where he has its independent life, I think it's fine and maybe a little sad, or not? I like this moment.

With best wishes and have a nice day, Irina

Hello dear Irina!

1000 thanks for your visit, very kind comment + Like and your thoughts & interests about this photo and life!

Your are right! Until delivery of a ship is always shouting and controlling during all the thousands of inspections and tests! The first step of success is the launching day. At this day all sorrows are forgotten...for one day!:) In China all official launching ceremonies hold with performance, music and fire-work with a lot of the fire-crackers! This mean: a really happy day for all partners, the shipyard, the owner and the classification society (Germanischer Lloyd or other)...when the ship will not sunk in the river-water!:) The last day, named as day of delivery of the ship, is the greatest. Than all work are fineshed, especially the safety for all necessary requirements! Safety first!!...and we always have to keep in our mind that later on a crew will sail this ship! The farewell at the quay (wharf) is a happy feeling for all! But a little bit also with a sad mood for the inspection team on land...because probably they will see never see again this ship with own eyes!

My best wishes and kindest regards to you, Udo

Hello dear Udo!

I agree with you, always sad to see off, to meet a lot nicer, but hopefully this ship will be a long and happy life.

With best wishes to you, Irina

Hallo Udo.

Hello dear Irina!

For our site office with all the inspectors is especially the delivery day a great day, perhaps the only one day with full satisfaction, because all our work for several months and years are done and at last accepted...according to the safety and worldwide regulations! I agree you words and we all hope that all our and worldwide builded ships never will come in danger, etc.!

My best wishes and a happy sunday for you, Udo

Hallo liebe Herta!
