Amazing Clive, the extremely well preserved barn and even more the sensitive photo, love it. I read your comments above and I think you couldn't have chosen a better colouring. So tender, as if it was the memory of that barn, not a real barn any more... and you lived here? lovely region, too.

It's a place full of fond memories, that's for sure. Yes, we lived just around the corner from it for a number of years, and I used to drive past it every day to/from work. I've paintings done of its inside and outside, and my 'favourite tree' pictures are of close-by too. (And we're both quite well-preserved). Best wishes, Clive

Sadly not my barn, Els, but it was just around the corner from the house we used to live in when we lived in England. It dates back to 1388 (see the link above), and is now under the care and management of Guildford Museum in Surrey. It's a wonderful structure - no nails or power tools!!
