Los rascacielos de San Francisco son muy hermosos, y si verlos desde el Bay Bridge son impresionantes por su belleza, aún más es verlos desde abajo cuando uno va caminando por las calles.

Hi michael.markler, San Francisco is a beautiful city, I was there 20 days. The Jazz is an interesting type of music with African's roots; I like Jazz but not all the types of them. Greetings, Paty

Hi, Patricia - this is a great photograph, but it is a long way from home - you have placed it about 80 miles away from San Francisco in the middle of farmland!

Hi Bruce, thanks for your comment, but I never located the mark where it is, actually I did it on the right place. Greetings, Paty.

Hello Bruce, I am not sure if this is the correct street, but is near the Transamerica Building

Hi, Patty - I just spent about 10 minutes carefully examining the central business district of San Francisco on the aerial photo. I looked for the "plot" profile of the rounded brown building in your photo, which should be distinctive. However, I cannot get an exact sense of where this scene is located. I do not think it is right at the base of the Transamerica Building, but I could be wrong.
In any case, your new mark is much closer than the old one, and until somebody else can identify the precise location, I would say you should keep it in the new position :-)
It is a very striking photograph :-)

WAIT A MINUTE! I think I found it - It looks like you were standing on Fremont Street, southeast of the intersection with Market Street. You had your camera aimed North-northwest, an angle of about 350 degrees.
The round building is at the northeast corner of Front Street and Market Street. From the sky, it is shaped like a drop of water with a circular structure at the wider western end. The shapes of the other buildings in your photo match the shapes on the aerial photo, too!
Based on the angle of illumination and shadow, the photo appears to be taken at about 11 AM +/-. Your EXIF data says 11:27 AM, so that matches...
This location is about 1/2 mile, or about 0.8 km, southeast of the position where you placed your mark.
How does that sound? :-)

Hi Bruce, it's OK, please send me a suggestion and I put the mark in the right place at the moment. I remember perfectly that this day and early in the morning I went to San Francisco by Bart because my nephew lives in Walnut Creek (it's located one hour from San Francisco city). During the morning I went to the Transamerica Building, Cable Car, and near Pier 39 I took the ship to Alcatraz. Thank you very much for your kind help. Cheers, Paty.

Hi, Patty - I would if I could, but the map will not let me suggest a new location! Panoramio only allows one correction by somebody who is not the photographer.
But, if you look at the map, you can easily see where "Fremont Street" connects to "Market Street" (the map has good street names). If you just move your marker to the sidewalk on Fremont Street about 0.5 block away from Market Street, you will have it right! :-)
Now I have to look at your other photos :-)
