Perched on Chapel Hill above Abbotsbury is this impressive golden stone building.
Many thanks Szilard, I appreciate the Y*.
The chapel was built in the early 15th century for pilgrims visiting Abbotsbury Abbey at the bottom of the hill. It is built from local Ashlar stone with 4ft thick walls and unusually has a stone roof to withstand the elements.
Thanks Priyansh and Brian, much appreciated.
Un LLL meritato..la sua bellezza e la tua tecnica ne fanno un'immagine splendida..
lovely shot, the church is so well defined against the sky.
Many thanks Roberta, Nick and Georgi, honoured to receive a Y* Georgi! The cloud and the light were perfect on an October morning. I just used a circular polarising filter to blue up the sky.
