Steve and Nick, many thanks again for your visits and good wishes for my NPC placement that I am very proud of. Glad you both like my bendy tree. (Almost a twin to Steve's)

Sandro & Cristina Dare il benvenuto alla mia galleria e molti ringraziamenti per i suoi buoni desideri per il mio successo nel NPC. Un saluto Herbert

Hanieh Shakiba, welcome to my gallery. It is always nice to have visitors from such a place of 'elegance and culture' here. I hope you see the same in my gallery of British countryside. In the meantime, many thanks for liking this and your nice compliments.

Greetings to you all from the UK, Herb

Lone Tree, but is full of great emotion. I see a symbol of the spirit .....

Herb, I like it!! thank you. Flees

Eva, nice to see you here again. Thanks for the congrats and your vote that made my third place possible. Much more important, however is that you enjoy this work.

Flees, yes nature provides us with many emotions. The wind is a great spirit in China too, I know. Thank you for just liking this.

Greetings to you both, Herb

Thank you for another fine comment Luka and another L. It is not everyday that any of my pictures are compared with a 'classical painting'.

Best Wishes to you in Rome, Herb

totally captivating, the work expresses all the subtle features of this special place.

Herb Riddle on January 12, 2011

Thanks Jonathan for this. This place is indeed special but would be noted by its fabulous white cliffs and bays rather than this lone tree.

Thanks for your visit and welcome to my gallery.

Cheers from Oldham, Herb

Paul sincere apologise for being so late with this reply. I wonder sometimes how some of these comments get missed but I suppose having nearly 900 photo's = many with comments still coming, I should not be surprised! All the same, a special thanks for the visit and YS.

Lukas, welcome to my gallery and a special thanks for your generous awards of a double YS & L for this. Hope to see more of you.

Many Regards to both of you, Herb

Herb, I visited Seven Sisters during my spring holidays, this is a really great place and so different from landscapes I know from Poland. It's worth to travel :-)

If you like, take a look at these photos at my second gallery

Kind regards from Poland :-)
