Hello, this is a RAF Dakota, Dog Easy 576 which crashed 14th July, 1944. It was flying from Patricia Bay, V.I [now the airfield at Saanitch] up to the Queen Charlotte Islands with two other aircraft. On the return flight they ran into bad weather and DE576 made two attempts to land, running out of fuel and crashing on the second attempt, killing the pilot and navigator. I have uploaded more photos. BW
