Hello Ryan, this is a beautiful picture. Looking at it in original size I saw it is built of bricks. That's what makes it look so beautiful. I also like the wall in front. Cheers, Anne

De acuerdo con Anne, es una iglesia muy bonita y la foto rescata toda una hermosa gama de colores tanto del muro de piedras, el rojo de la construcción y el cielo de un azul radiante contrastando con esas nubes, además de los verdes de la naturaleza. Muy buena foto Ryan.

Thanks, Anne. Brick is probably the most common building material used. I agree with you that it makes buildings beautiful. Even old and broken bricks can be very interesting. I'm surprised that you wouldn't recognize it, but I guess brick is not very common in Germany?

Gracias Claudia. Este día que el cielo fue un color bueno, y tuvo muchas nubes maravillosas. Fui feliz de encontrar esto bonito construyendo en medio del pueblo. No es una iglesia ya (el nuevo edificio de la iglesia está al otro lado de la calle) y yo no supe que estuvo allí hasta que yo lo viera. Tuve que leer las palabras en la piedra angular para saber el nombre original de esta iglesia.

Hi Ryan, great shot! I have taken many photos of this place, as it is my home, but rarely do I get as good of a balance. By the way, bricks and stone seem less beautiful when you gotta tuck point them! Marlin

Hi Marlin. Thank you! So you live here? I knew the church moved to a new location, but I didn't know what this building was used for now. I agree with you very much, after helping my dad lay a new stone retaining wall last summer.
