Ah.. waterfalls, flash floods, smell of desert vegetation in the rain.. stormy weather in red-rock country is a rare and special treat. Excellent pics, captured the mood really well.
I'll admit that I was totally not expecting a storm full of lightning and even snow to literally chase me out of Utah in early October . . . and to follow me all the way through Colorado into Wyoming and Nebraska. That storm coloured many of my photos from that road-trip -- giving me both headaches and gems along the way.
Southern Utah is awesome though. Highly recommended to photographers and nature buffs alike.
But respect her. She can lay you low quite fast. (I went from heat stroke to snow-storm in just a week!)
