Plenty of drama. Better to be in the harbour and up the creek, Jim.

This is bad folks, even for me :( It's only taken me about 18 months to get here..I'm humbly apologetic for this abysmal behaviour!

beegood~~~~~We all face this dilemma about exposing our kids to the real world Maja..Somewhere in-between careful guidance and turning the odd blind eye is about right..It is not good to mollycoddle the kids since their activities are now governed by a myriad of social, welfare and health & safety legislation..

TheoWasserhess~~~Greetings Theo :) This location is where much of my mis-spent childhood took place..I must have received a thousand punishments for arriving home soaked to the skin..We live to tell the tale!

*LukA*~~~Good to see you Luka, I enjoyed your feedback :)

Nick Weall~~~You are sooo right dear Nick..we were allowed to enjoy our selves even if it was simply a matter of children being children I guess...Parents were not so worried about us in those far off days..Most of us returned safely home, even if we were not welcome :) As for being engulfed, I'm not as quick off the mark as I thought I was..The camera has made strange noises ever since!

ian1949~~~I would hate to be entering the harbour in these conditions Ian..I have seen fishing boats and their crews struggle to negotiate these piers under similar conditions..In these cases, a sea drogue is used to steady the boats' forward progress and the off-shore life-boat is usually standing by..

* Sayo *~~~~Es muy bueno para recibir su visita y agradable comentario Sayo :) Me alegro de que se detuvo por el!

A.SKINNER~~~~~Hi Anita :) So crazy is the weather these days that rarely do we get these Northerly gales..I cant remember the last time we had a howler..You can be sure that I'll be keeping a weather eye open for the next one..It could be a whopper!

Ian Stehbens~~~~That's a very altruistic statement Ian..and much nearer the mark than you could possibly know..I'm nearly always up the creek and not always with my paddle :)

To each of you, I express my profound thanks for your visits, your precious comments and "Likes", but mostly, for taking the time to look :)

Kind regards everyone
