Ma chérie Isabelle
Merci!
Cracking shot and another double header too ~ Ok so another Golden Star and like again too too
Hi Steve and Nick, Thanks very much to both of you for the visit the 'likes' and the 'stars'.
Considering it was the last train of the day, in failing light and pouring rain, your praise makes getting soaked worthwhile!
Nick, bonus points for spotting the second locomotive, it is the Southern S15, No 825. Isabelle, je pense que votre très gros yeux vifs sont fatigues! Vous n'avez pas le voir!
Thanks for visiting. This locomotive is almost two years old. I have another picture of it on it's first day of public service.
Yes, we still have steam locomotives running in England!
Hi Peter A nice shot here I see it isdouble headed what was the other Loco I have not been to this location it must be out towards Newbridge.A GS and "like" .Best wishes Alan
Hi Alan, thanks very much for the visit, the star, and the like!
The other loco is the S15 without smoke deflectors.
The location is just by the road crossing. It's OK for a rainy day because you can sit in the car, and you are much closer than Moorgates. Down side is that the loco isn't working, hence no exhaust.
A rainy day, but a steam-train with two locos - it's a good day (and a very nice picture!).
Thank you again for your interest. The day started out very well with
picture no.41589245, picture no.41589264, and
picture no.88708150, then the weather got steadily worse.
This is a good spot to watch trains when it rains, because it is possible to sit in the car until the crossing gates open.
Back into the fav's for sure Peter what a smasher
best wishes .. steve
Thank you again for looking, and for the appreciation. I think the story of this one is pretty much like I said to Josef above, a nice place to wait on a rainy day!
I think NYMR is doing a gala soon, but I haven't given any thought to going or not. Have you any ideas?
Hello Peter i think Alan may have mentioned something about a Gala this month ?
