Great picture.. very atmospheric..

Kenny Wharton on November 18, 2010

I saw a similar scene on the way to work the other morning but there were no features to give it interest.

Yours on the other hand has a lot going on. The ploughed field lines draw you into the photo, the ivy covered tree is the main feature yet the hard lines of the church draw you further in, into the mists, quite spooky really!

Kenny

Cheers....Geoff..I took a 'Street view' wander around 'BINBROOK'..a most lovely village..I can imagine the many airmen tumbling out of the 'MARQUIS'...back in the early 40s...No Chinese take away then though...!..Looking down onto the 'Lightning jet aircraft' at the end of 'Southfields and High street' looks most unusual...in a back garden...to say the least !!!!.. Dave...

Yeah, Dave, as I think I said it's Charles Ross, the local veterinary's, farmhouse and he's "Mr Lightning". Has a room set aside for all sorts of memorabilia including a Martin-Baker ejector seat! I can imagine him sitting in it with a cup of steaming cocoa gazing down at XR725 in his garden! Regards, Geoff

Wonderful image from you Dave, demonstrating once again your eye for such things. As you know, this type of picture is my 'bread & butter' and so you realise that when I say such a thing as 'I like it, then I must mean it! Enough said! Herb

PS love that tree!

This is a superb shot Dave, I love the composition and atmosphere. I like it and as Herb says above if I say I like it I mean it.

Greetings from Indonesia, John

Thanks so much...'Herb' and 'John'...Here's the 'Misty Morn' version...I staggered over 400 metres in knee deep snow to capture another shot some days later...The depth of snow on a photograph is not always evident...but I'll post it up anyway...Thanks again..Dave..

What a wonderful view! You captured a perfect moment!

Randy Hall on March 9, 2011

Excellent. It would have been a good photo on a clear day, but that mist really made it perfect. Well done!

Cheers from Canada, Randy
