Thanks Indri, presumably you've spotted them both?

After klicking once I think I saw two at mid height of the picture. One in the middle and the other 12 cm. further at the right.
You do use decimal measures, don't you?

That sounds about right Indri. For all I know, there may well be another, but I only saw the two through the fog.

Oh! very nice! It's amazing what a bit of fog does to the atmosphere KC.
How lucky you are to have spotted these 2, and also that you live close enough to London as well!
In Norway there are numerous sign for elk as one travels into the hills. I have yet to see one, but I have found the droppings ;))

man, you really have to look close don't you - the one on the right, especially.
So now I see all the fog isn't fog. A little bit of controlled burn taking place?

keepclicking, on November 18, 2010, said:
No controlled burn What you see is what you get. Heavy fog, just lifting with a bright but not too warm winter sun tying to burn it off.

Thanks Amelia. It has taken me fifty years to see a full grown stag. There are a few munkjacks around that are more in abunance, but not many of these beasts.

Got it - I thought I saw a bit of charring and smoldering in the clumps of grass. Looks damn cool whatever it is.

They do indeed Howzitboy. I find it hard to find then and I was watching them. Have you found the single one yet on the other shot entitled 'Stag Party'?
