Beautiful picture, Rich, but - how sad! Back in those days, people often died very young, even children. Only the strongest and healthiest were able to survive. The headstones are very beautiful - must have been wealthy people who could afford it. Greetings, Anne

Greetings Anne, It is sad that all three children passed between the ages of 2 and 3. In some sections of the cemetery you find short periods of time where many people died indicating some event that took their lives all at once. Some markers in the cemetery were made of Iron in the shape of a cross with the information stamped in by hand. Sadly, those could not be read.

It's very sad if to imagine all dramatic of this picture. Nevertheless photo is very fine and beautiful. The sheeps are on the top of gravestones seems are subject of Bible.

Greetings SetyLeon, Thank you for visiting and your kind comments. The cemetery is very interesting to visit. Many graves are so sad because the children died so young. It was a hard life in the silver camps in the mountains.
