I think cemeteries are fascinating, and I always make sure to stop if I see an old one. This stone is interesting, I'm guessing granite in kind of a reddish brown. I wonder if they let the trees grow so close on purpose.
Greetings Ryan, When the train leaves Silverplume, it won't return for about 1.5 hours. This leaves plenty of time to visit the cemetery just above the town. You can't miss the return of the train because the cemetery is just above the tracks and the train can be heard leaving the lower station. I believe the Clair monument is made from granite. The trees moved in on their own and many family plots are getting over grown. It truly feels like a very old cemetery in an old mining town.
