Thank you of your visit and your kind comment!Cheers, Tamás
Tamás, this hinge is a wonderful blacksmith's work. The door as well as the wrought iron are beautiful in all their simplicity. Thank you! May
And Bruce, this is a good example of an ornament, which tells a whole story about the proud ability of a craftsman. I like these kind of ornaments, because it shows the understanding of the material and the knowledge to work with it. Whereas I don't like pretended ornaments, which have no function at all. May
I am glad you like it, May !This is pub's gate. Thanks, Tamás
That sounds interesting! :-)) May
This is reality and he is real manual work:-)Tamás
I know of course, it's origin! I esteem this work! Apám volt patkolókovács és Én építész! Online dictionary ;-) May
From German to Hungarian = enyém apa van kovács én építész.
Nekem a nagypapám volt kovács:-)
English translation is right.
Beautiful detail, this hinge. And it looks very strong indeed. This door must be very heavy to open (and very satisfying). Greetings, Ryan
This is not door, but a big gate and very strong because of this.Greetings, Tamás

Really like this picture. The coloring and the onament create a cetain atmosphere. The black/blue coloring gives it a bit of a creepy style. This is the kind of door u won't like to open after you've seen a horror movie.Cuz u never know what is behind it.
Greetz from Holland
Many thanks for your comment Erik !There is a pub behind the gate :-), there is not horror.
