When you swim down this river, Amelia, who carries your towel?

Good morning Marek, Jac & Willy, Maggie, Georgy, Albrecht and Ahmet, please accept my apologies for this bulk reply which is also very late! Many thanks for all your lovely responses to this photo. I'm very happy that you liked it. It's a nice walk along the River Thames here, and there are a lot of bridges :))

Warm greetings from Norway to you all, Amelia

Thank you Sonja, I'm very happy that you liked this photo. There are many bridges over the River Thames, and this one is only fro trains :)

Greetings from Norway, Amelia

Dear Ian, I'm letting you into a little secret now. I have a good friend, a merman called Sven, who does my every bidding, and carries a huge rucksack containing every conceivable item of clothing that a mermaid could need, and is willing to travel between the UK and Norway. It's a bit like having a golf caddy, and he enjoys the change of scenery ;)

And when Sven is in Shropshire, I bet he can be found as a garden gnome for he's willing to morph from merman to gnome. Does he have an English name, too?

..and btw the foreground reminds me of much of Brisbane, at the moment.

Warmest regards,

Ian

I hope that all the mud in Brisbane has all been cleared up now Ian. Let's hope it wasn't quite as bad as the Thames mud which is sticky. Sven likes to be called that in Ruyton too, it gives him a bit of individuality ;)

I was looking at this again Nick, and I notice that it was taken in Wandsworth prison. Does this count as a record?

Nick Weall on June 1, 2012

I think that it means that you now have a record dearest LGM although it is more usual that you spent your time in Holloway ~ It looks like M must have got her evil hands on you once upon a time....
