Great shot Ian. Greetings Berend

Ian Stehbens on December 7, 2010

I was quite enthralled by this piece of landscape, Berend. There were so many surprises and contrasting elements: the wind-coiffured tree canopy, the lawned areas due to the caves beneath, the caves themselves and the many sinkholes, the rainforest below, and the abundance of tropic birds that were nesting in the caves. I am sure you would have loved the birds soaring in flight, and giving every opportunity for them to be photographed on the wing.

I can imagine that it's amazingly beautiful Ian. Greetings Berend

Exploring the caves is quite a challenge, Berend, but in the end I decided that was best left to the tropic birds.
