Hello Swissmay, Thanks for sharing this photo. It reminded me of the occasion when the postmistress in Claddaghduff Post Office asked my wife and I if we were going to "cycle across the Atlantic" (to Omey Island)before we returned on our bikes to Clifden. We did of course! John

Thank you very much, John! I can imagine the situation. :) I crossed by car, but was a bit uneasy because I didn't really trust the sea and so didn't stay very long and watched out on both sides if I was save, while travelling. I was so surprised that the ground was compact enough to pass with a car.
