Cheeky was a Possum who lived at our last home. She used to knock on the window at Dusk for us to feed her. She had 5 babies while we were there and used to let us put our hands in her pouch to feel the babies. When they came out onto her back, she would let us hold them. She was adorable and I often wonder how she's doing and if the new home owner fed her like we did.

When I was in OZ in 1988 we went up to my uncle's place in Dereel, near Ballarat for the weekend. When it was dark we went for a walk on his property & shone a torch up into the trees. Now & then we would see two big eyes shining back at us. I'm almost certain this was a Possum?
Great shot & story Palmina. :)

It probably would've been a Possum. In St Kilda, there's a park next to the beach and you sit there at about 1.00 in the morning on a Summer's night with a loaf of bread and pretty soon, you have every Possum in Victoria is seems sitting on your knee. They are so soft! They have a face to die for. I'm sorting out a photo of cheeky with babies No. 2 and 3. They aren't the best shot's but you can see the bairns. They look like something from the Gremlins
