/to nordhäuser: i was to germany in may. we met many emigrants from Russia and former soviet countries, and they say that there's much difference between eastern and western germans, and they certainly prefer comunicate and live with the eastern rather when the western germans. I believe East Germans want to keep some of their differences because they feel a little bit different from the West Germans, so they still use this "move" instead of changing to the standard one.

Really miss Germany..Eastern part of Germany is charming in a way...The people also nice and kind :)
If you go up north to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern..it's really charming cities up there. Unfortunately, only few people knows that part.
Next time you guys shld visit Schwerin, Luebeck ..Wismar and Rostock, Warnemuende..Guestrow..and around...Baltic sea area.
