Weather vanes and rusties....my faves! :D

I was just updating MJPL's information files with pamphlets from all of North America (will have to get busy on the rest of the world soon). Now I'll be looking closely at the ones I received from Missouri . :)

What is MJPL? Thanks, Pam. :-) This is mounted on top of the vet's office.

Moose Jaw Public Library....I'd already posted the answer here but must have missed hitting send. :S

I love sighting a weather vane (they aren't that common now).

That's very pretty Ryan! And the wind comes from North?! Lovely detail, the roof and the weather vane! Greetings, May

Thanks, May! Around here, the wind can come from anywhere, but usually from the west. The jetstream crosses the country usually close to the border with Canada, and usually dips across Missouri. It moves up and down, so sometimes our air comes from Canada and sometimes from the Gulf of Mexico, and occasionally from the jetstream itself. That's why we get such interesting thunderstorms. Greetings, Ryan
