Unbelievable dear Amelia, as if you had matched all these elements on purpose, the elegant line of bare trees, the contraposting wooden path, in the center, to give it stability, this gnarled old beech, and everything so fine drawn ~ a piece of art indeed dear friend!
The concert was great ~ your asked what performance and well, I think this group is not so famous abroad because they mostly sing in German, although they are called the Wise Guys.... quite like their songs :)
Have a peaceful Sunday dear one ~ big hug ~ Maja
Lovely mirrorlike reflections Amelia! Great shot! Best wishes, Fai

Mmmmm, suspense is still hanging in my mind
dunno what yon waall is for
could it be tae keep boats oot,
or mebbe it's tae haad them in!
Whaye man, aa divvun knaa, burra knaa ye'll knaa!
Sorry folks, again I have overlooked your visits and wonderful compliments. Could it be that it is because I am always flitting from the UK to Norway and back? Maybe I was busy in December? Whatever - I am here now, and thank you all so much :)
Warm wishes from the UK, Amelia
This 'wall' is a wooden battier that is reflected in the canal Bonnie Lad. The canal widens out here to form a winding hole so that the boats can turn round using the action of wind as well as motor.
To me it looked as if the wooden barrier was just floating in the air ;)
Ca canny noo, Amelia
Oh aye! and the upside doon trees aswell!
I now comprehend the use of yon barrier thingy, boats turnig round eh? narrow boaots oan a narrow canal, devilishly clever them floating folks!
Ga canny yersel!
unparalled and unequalled
