A very pretty autumn scene. I like the irregular weathered gravestones and the regular pathway. We are in the grips of winter, we've even got (gasp) frost!!!

Oh My Goodness! I agree with Nawitka, Really intriguing old stones Bitsy! How old are they?

Happy Turkey Day!

Thanks Nawitka and GG! LOL, gasp, I posted a typical tourist scene! But it was so pretty I couldn't resist. The Old Granary Burial Ground is a very old and historic burial ground, and a stop along 'The Freedom Trail' here. Lots of Revolutionary War era people are buried here - including Paul Revere, John Hancock, and 2 other signers of the Declaration of Independence. So it actually was a bit of a rare catch to be able to get this without a lot of people in view, though there was a large tour group nearby.

LOLOL GG - you aren't going to believe this, but, while he wasn't a tourist, I do know someone who was doing some work here, stepped back, and his leg broke through into a vault!!! And what's really funny: I thought of his story when I was posting this shot.

Yikes! well hope he is okay , and whoever was in that vault is still resting in whole piece.

Filled with beer? Cool! Much better than eggnog! Thanks, I needed that!

And lol, yeah, the friend was OK. He'd already survived a fall off the 25' cliff around the gorilla enclosure at the local zoo when they were building that. (LOL, he isn't a klutz, honest!)
