I like everything about this photo and your tribute is very touching. You certainly evoke sadness with this photo. all the best, Derek

Thank you NatureDiver I really appreciate your kind comments. Though I can not evoke nearly the sadness that I feel over this loss. ~ Cathy

Gracias Felipe por sus palabras tan consolados. Todavía, es difícil pensar en ella, sabiendo que ella se ha ido. Pero cada día se pone un poco menos doloroso. Muchisimas gracias por el like

Hi Michael I am truly heartened with your kind comment on this photo. I noticed your bio photo, it looks like Nugget really liked tennis balls. I am sure it was difficult for you to loose Nugget also. Thank you for commenting on this photo.

Kindest regards, Cathy

Sorry to hear that Cathy. I too had two of these black labs, one at a time, (when I was more of a family unit than now) and they both died after many (dog) years. I burried the first one myself and then acquired the second one. He died 13 years later and I couldn't bear it (the loss) anymore so I am dog-free these days - but I miss them once in a while.

Thank you Kyle. It is tough to deal with their loss, but as with everything, it eases with time. We haven't found any dog that can replace our Mancha but we are not dog free, and our other dogs do help fill the void.

Best regards, Cathy
