Hi Rich, you took this picture at a lovely angle. As usual, the sky is a beautiful deep blue (something which I badly need at the moment - all we have is low pressure and grey skies, and that in July - makes you want to weep). Looks like glacial sedimentation here. The name of the lake is just enchanting. I wonder who thought up all the romantic placenames so long ago.
