Greetings Mohammed, Thanks for visiting the Solitude Lake photographs and commenting. It is a beautiful glacier cirque that sees few people since it is such a difficult climb up. This is the second of the two lakes, the first being Shelf Lake. Behind Solitude Lake you can see the west head wall of the cirque. I imagine the granite faces you see going up to the ridge top are nearly 1,000 feet vertical. I saw two climbers heading in that direction (we all got to Shelf Lake at exactly the same time, but I don't think they ever saw me). Clouds kept the hike in fairly cool and comfortable. After I arrived, the clouds broke and it got beautiful. Thanks again.

Cheers,

Rich
