Information courtesy of "buttercup1": FRLC #8 originally came from the Hobart Mills (near Truckee, CA), then went on to serve the Clover Valley Lumber Co. after CVL was purchased by the Feather River Lumber Co.
As of spring 2011, the locomotive is still undergoing work at the photo location.
