depends on how much time you want to spend in one place. 10 days is, of course, short. i'd recommend: route1: start in helsinki (you will probably arrive there py plane), first 2 days in helsinki, then go by train to rovaniemi (sleep on the train), stay there for half the day and continue by bus to utsjoki. days 4 and 5 you can spend in utsjoki and it's surroundings (maybe you can rent a car, so you could travel on the beautiful road from karigasniemi to utsjoki to nourgam. on day 6you travel down again, spend the rest of the day in saariselkä or continue to rovaniemi. day 7 you can spend in rovaniemi, in the evening continue to kajaani or sotkamo (sotkamo is cheaper!), day 8 you travel to either kajaani or sotkamo (depends on where you stay now) and come back in the afternoon and enjoy a fine sunset. day 9 you take the train from kajaani to helsinki, so you can spend day 10 in helsinki. or route 2 (the south of finland): helsinki - jyväskylä - joensuu - and then either to lappeenranta and imatra or to punkaharju (very nice landscape!) and savonlinna (nice, but very very expensice). on your way back to helsinki you can stop at lahti, in summer there's a public swimming pool at the jumping hills. greetings
