Layed Back - Harbor Seals off Clam Island - Sept 20, 2008 (suz)

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Many Harbor Seals shelter, raise and train their pups here on the Bay (east) side of Clam Island, a sandbar off the North Spit. These seals are resting their backsides on the sand, much like an anchor, probably. They are cautious and curious - didn't mind seeing us in the canoe, if we didn't get too close.
