I've just been having a look at your Winter shots Kenny.nice to look at them with my feet stuck up the chimney,so to speak! Its to bloody cold for me at times,i'll be glad to see the back of it This is my pick of the bunch,no footprints, just a hint of wheelmarks and they sort of lead the eye into the picture. Its a nicely composed shot mate;-)

All the best...Neil.

Thanks for the explanation as to why you preferred this shot. There were more cabins to the right but I kept them out of the shot. I wanted to cteate the impression of solitude. My fav, in these latest winter scenes is "the shining" It just reminds me of the film. Looking back at the shot I think I should have cloned out the street lamp!

Very nice Winter scene..Kenny,.must have been lovely with so much snow..but..as you say.."you decided to leave while you could get out !!" I take it that ..'Darwin Park' is a holiday village' type of thing..? I know this area reasonably well ..'as far as the famous 'Red Lion' anyway..Cheers ..DJ..

Hi DJ Yes it is a holiday village and I also know the Red Lion. We always have a good meal there.

All the best,
