This memorial commemorates the soviet soldiers that were killed in WWII in putting an end to the nazi terror in Europe.

They helped us to regain our freedom and put an end to the brutal fascist terror in my and other countries.

That is all.

That does not make it an excuse for stalinist terror, of course.
