Robert: Thanks for your comment! I think i managed to show it off just like it was, as you said, forlorn and bitterly cold, an I am glad others see it that way too..
Sometimes a picture stands out from the crowd, and for me, this is one. Not only is it a good shot but it is so much more. It demands a story, a children’s story, the kind that deals with hardship and survival. Perhaps if you have a moment to spare and let your imagination take flight, this picture could form the basis of a great tale. I await with great anticipation.
nice moody shot; a vast landscape.
Voted+like Fantastic view ¡¡vow! Greetings Estitxu.
Robert: I am not much of storyteller, but like you, I feel the hardship and toil that must have taken place here through time. I am going to seek out other abandoned farm thi year, often they are fascinating places.
larry & ESTITXU, thanks for having a look, I am really happy with this shot.
A very touching picture. The house looks like a very old lady, forlorn and alone and yet with a rich story of life to tell if you take time to look and listen with your heart. And everything together, the house, the surrounding, the atmosphere is so perfectly beautiful. Angela
