I lived across from the McCormick Country Club for 23 years- until 2005 when I moved to Greenville, SC. My home was very near your friend's property. I go there to visit at the lake 6 - 7 times a year. I don't think I've ever seen "the rock house". It is truly in a beautiful area. Does your friend live in the McCormick area? I may know him/her.
