You have to love the uniqueness of this waterfall! This tiny creek has personality. It bashes from rock to rock above this point, then gains speed in a straight run toward a flying leap into the pool downstream. Some might consider that only large creeks or high waterfalls are worthy of photography, but I take a different view. Scale isn't the issue; character is. email@example.com
Hi Indy; I have been enjoying all your waterfalls. The white of the splash and hues of blue look great in this one. You deserve the "waterfall photographer of the year" award! all the best, Derek
I agree Derek. When I'm taking or viewing a waterfall I always ask myself, "Is it as good as an Indy..." It never is. =)
P.S. I have a similar question for underwater photos and Derek, they never are.
Derek and GG: Thanks muchly to two superb photographers yourselves. Actually, I wasn't going to include this shot, as the white pool splash distracts from the waterfall, and it wasn't all that attractive. But Photoshop came to the rescue by allowing me to smooth over the edges a little and make it more dream-like. The blue colour, however, is still natural.
Since leaving B.C. twelve years ago, I wondered what beauty Ontario could offer that I was missing so badly in the mountains, and then I got to thinking about all the lakes and rivers in the area, and the consequential waterfalls. Waterfalls became my replacement for the mountains. I found two great books on the subject, then many websites that taught me a lot about photographing them. The best teachers have been the waterfalls themselves. Nothing can substitute for going out and trying it. Happy hunting, Indy
Muy bonita! Saludos desde Puerto Rico.

Thanks, Ismail! I'm glad you like both of these photos. I had a look at your snowy images from Turkey - certainly seems cold! Best of hope from Canada, Indonesia Jones
