Great shot of this Bombadier station. I hope to make it up to see the 29 soon. I did make it to Duncanville yesterday to visit my sister, had some spare time so ran over to the Museum at Love Field. My brother-in-law had told me about an A-7 they have there which is what I use to work on. Turns out from the paint job that it is from my old Air Wing 30. If I remember right, the Lobos were stationed down at Point Magu, California, where we would go for missle shoot exercises. Was thinking about going on up to see the B-29 but it was too late in the day and still had 2 hour drive back to Palestine. I did see that the Collings Foundation aircraft are going to be at Love Field and leave there on the 21'st for Palestine that afternoon. Have a great day.

Ah the famous Norden..that which the US was so afraid could fall into the hands of the Japanese on Doolittle's raid. I suppose by the time this one was fitted to the Superfort, the Norden was even more sophisticated. I'm sure I've seen an old photo of "Fifi" somewhere.

Jockswa, send me your e-mail address and I can send you a bunch of pictures of Fifi, inside and out! It was really cool to be able to crawl around inside her. I actually saw her pass overhead on the way back to the airport last week. Couldn't mistake the sound of those engines!
