It's very pretty. Almost blue in color, and shaped like a bell.
Thank you Ryan! It's called 'Glockenblume' in German. May
une campanule tout à fait adorable.
Merci Armagnac! Je les aime aussi, ces fleurs naturelles. May
Wunderschöne Glockenblume, Gruss aus Südtirol, Greti.
Danke schön, Greti! Im Südtirol gibt's ja auch ganz wunderschöne Blumenwiesen! Gruss aus der Schweiz, May
In Britain we have the variety Campanula rotundifolia (Harebell), being a beautiful delicate flower. It can be found on relatively undisturbed ground from mountain-tops to sand-dunes; on chalk grasslands, on acid heaths and in shelter on exposed cliff-tops.
I do not have a photo but here is a web link.
They are one of my favourite flowers as they shake delicately in the breeze and bloom until the autumn gales.
Best Wishes Peter
Peter, thank you! The Campanula rotundifolia is quite common in my country. I have some more Campanulas in my other gallery, which is reserved for the pictures I did with my first digital camera between 1996 and 2002, under the tag 'Campanula'.
Best regards, May
