Thanks mate its a bit dangerous standing there on the bank you are right next to the trucks whizzing past. The Geese just appeared out of nowhere, lucky shot.
Keep on the move don't let it freeze over beautiful shot Like ...Haggs...

Beautiful ----- VOTE ----- good luck in the contest
this is beautiful picture... nicely caught those 'incoming' geese like with big furry slippers preparing for landing :)
Good picture, The swag had lost a lot of water recently when I went to take pictures.
Thanks Si, yes they had to pump some water into it last year. Its frozen over at the moment and covered with birds, nice chance to get a good picture, especially at sunset....Regards Woody
I will check it out Woody, by the way how do you feel about putting your best pictures on this site?
To be honest Si I don't put my 'best' pictures on here they might end up on a biscuit tin somewhere!
only jokin ....If people like a picture then they will 'Like it' or mark it as a 'favourite' I dont feel I am qualified to say this is my 'best'. I'm just happy if somebody likes one of my photos.
How do you feel?
I think I feel the same, not all my best pictures are on here because one day I would like to do something with them. I have selected best just for the sake of it really. I am not fond of to much editing and messing around with pictures, and the majority of my own are my own as they were took. My style is natural and if I have to edit, it is mainly to change the brightness or contrast. Do you ever do much editing to your own pictures?
Same here, levels, a bit of contrast maybe some selective colour saturation and sharpening, with digital I think you need a bit of enhancing not like the old Kodak days...It helps if you can get the right light, digital needs strong lighting I think to get the best from it. regards Woody
