It's simple but it captures the bay gently washing over the rocks on the shore. Our coast is rocky while the intertidal zones are often very sandy. All of it is teaming with life. No big waves in the Straight of Georgia. People hunt for agates here at Semiamhoo Spit and oyster which are plentyful (by law you have to leave the shells where you found 'em for other oysters to use)
