Thanks Beth, Artur, Steve, Dave and @around for your kind comments, coming from fellow photographers they are much appreciated.

Cogden Beach is at the Western end of the world famous Chesil Beach that stretches 13km East to the Isle of Portland. In the right distance you can see the sunlit orange face of Burton Cliff, with the shadowed outline of Golden Cap jutting out further along the coast. Thorncombe Beacon is on the skyline between these two features. We were very lucky to get the sun and waves together.
