Reminiscent of the Nolan series of paintings which he called his Ned Kelly series. Australian artist, Sir Sidney Nolan, represented the legendary bushranger, Ned Kelly, by a black metal mask, which in turn represented Kelly's head armour used during the Glenrowan Hotel shootout with Victorian police. This photo looks across Hervey Bay from Wangoolba Landing on the western side of Fraser Island towards River Heads.
