The flash makes this look like an underwater neon sign - another fantastic below sea level image Timo !

They are unbelievably colourful Waldo!

This guy is also poisonous and with the bright colours he is advertising it - I taste bad and if you eat me, boy your going to be sick!

You are right about the flash. Without it you can't really see the colours, because water absorbs light. First to disappear is red.

Best regards, Timo

Would you believe this creature is only about 5 cm long and 10 metres under water?

Another great photo, is the G9 an underwater camera or do you have a case for it?

tmoj on December 27, 2010

Drosoula Stella, thank you for your extensive visit, L and nice comments!

Hi Greg, G9 is Canon's high end compact, the present version is G12 with main benefit being the wider angle lens. For underwater photography you need an underwater casing and preferably also external flash to avoid backscatter from the small particulates always present in sea water.

What a nice picture, I saw (only) one during a dive at Little Giftun in Hurghada/Egypt in November 2010.

LIKE6 and YS3. Good luck for your next dives!

Vielen Dank Für dein Besuch und L+Y* Jens,

nudibranch are my favourite underwater objects. They are unbelievably colourful and come in so many varieties. Additionally they move very slowly, so there is time to take the picture.

Mit freundlichen Grüssen aus Finnland, Timo
