I have been on Route 191 many times but never heard of this spot. It's on my list now when I go by again.
Lukas, don't count on my location. We were driving from Goosenecks/Muley Pt. to Canyon de Chelly. About 3 miles from Bluff, UT there's a state park called Sand Island with a nice panel of petroglyphs. While there some fellow hikers directed us to Wolfman Trail, and gave us turn by turn directions. All I know for sure is that is was fairly close to Sand Island, and along the way to the Canyon. Good luck.
Thanks. I will find it. (Looks like September will be my "red rock" month this year!
Lukas, a nice person just corrected my location for the Wolfman Trail, and I remembered you had set out to find it. Unfortunately, after I clicked on "Accept Change" his/her name disappeared and I lost my chance to thank them, so the only benefit may be that you've got a precise location.
Hank, thank you so much that you remembered. I will certainly go and explore that spot. Look how timely your message was - I am leaving tomorrow! :-) See you next month.
Have a great trip, Lukas. I'm looking forward to what you bring back.
Thanks for visiting Tomoaki. There are many interesting sites throughout the American Southwest which are decorated with the artwork of anceint peoples. It makes hiking there a special treat, when you find these drawings.
Greetings from Italy, La Mugna
Thank you, and thanks for the lead to your pages. Wonderful stuff you've got in your collection.
